Education - Humanity House

World citizenship in the classroom

The Humanity House education team helps to embed world citizenship in Dutch education – from primary and secondary school to higher education. We equip teachers with tools to encourage children and young people to learn more about the world. Our educational programs raise awareness and stimulate discussion about themes such as relief aid, war, disasters and refugees. Pupils and students are enabled to form their own opinions about daily reality and the importance of peace and safety in the world.

UPDATE: Humanity House will be open again to school groups starting from the new school year in september. We have taken safety measures in accordance to the guidelines of the RIVM.

Students in higher education are still required to keep a distance of 1,5 meters amongst themselves. To facilitate this we have lowered the maximum amount of participants for students in higher education to 16 persons (including supervisors) per group.

Check the specific page of the program for further details.
