Examples which you may encounter in your daily life include that your email can be hacked, intimate pictures can be spread and sensitive information can be stolen. On a state level cyber attacks can lead to national disasters. Hijacking flight systems, disrupting government services and even shutting down internet infrastructures are all in the realm of possibilities of digital crime. Are our security measures equipped to deal with the reality of digital threats? Ida Haisma (The Hague Security Delta) will discuss the security measures and innovations we must take to protect ourselves from digital threats.
