Film & Conversation: Crimes before the ICTY – Višegrad

Through first-hand witness testimonies, trial footage and interviews with the protagonists, ‘Crimes before the ICTY: Višegrad’ tells the gripping story of the judicial response to the tide of ethnic cleansing that swept this eastern Bosnian municipality in the summer of 1992. This ethnic cleansing resulted in the nearly total expulsion of its majority Muslim population.

‘Crimes before the ICTY: Višegrad’ is the fifth in a series of documentary films produced by the ICTY’s Outreach Program, in an attempt to make the work and achievements of this international court closer to audiences in the former Yugoslavia and around the world.
