Global Migration Film Festival: Wallah, Je te jure

From December fifth to December eighteenth IOM organizes the Global Migration Film Festival. By screening films about migration, the organisation wants to stimulate debate and change the perception on migrants in a positive way. Not only in the Netherlands, but worldwide. With the event they also want to give thought to their 65th anniversary and to the International Migrants Day.

During this afternoon we will watch the short film ‘Wallah, Je te jure’. This film, produced by IOM Niger, shows the migrationjourney from Senegal to Libya and eventually Europe, by portraying different migrants along the route. After screening, a debate with eminent guests will follow with room for discussion and questions.
