The refugee crisis is still a daily news item. This debate, led by film fragments, focuses on the question whether all this attention also leads to a solution to the crisis. We also talk with Syrians in The Netherlands about how they contribute to a solution in their homeland – and how they and their co-activists try to keep up the spirit.

IDFA, one of world’s most famous documentary festivals, goes The Hague! Are you free on Sunday the 10th of January? In cooperation with Oxfam Novib, we offer a special IDFA-day on the subject of humans on the move: migration & refugees. In between screenings of A Syrian Love Story and Walls, you can take part in an interactive debate on the topic, making use of film fragments from different documentary films.
