iAfrica Film Festival: iMashōka

Science fiction film in which a country in Africa is confronted with a new major crisis; all water is contaminated. What impact does it have when every drop has to be purified before usage or consumption?

Despite the tensions between their clans, Nijimbre (Umugabuzi) and Kamikazi (Umunyamazi) love each other. They keep their relationship a secret to family and friends. In this film we see how their lives and that their communities changes when the circumstances escalate.
