Open Air Doc: HUMAN in the garden of the Peace Palace

What makes us Human? Driven by this question, filmmaker Yann Arthus-Bertrand spent three years collecting real-life stories from 2,000 women and men in 60 countries.  These stories characterized by themes such as love, war, homosexuality, forgiveness, family, life after death, happiness, immigration and the meaning of life. HUMAN brings us face to face with the Other, making us reflect on our lives and our earth.

Humanity House and the Dutch Red Cross screen the impressive documentary HUMAN on a very unique location, the garden the Peace Palace. The documentary starts at sunset.

About this program

This screening is made possible by Humanity House, The Peace Palace and the Dutch Red Cross. This documentary is part of the Just Peace Festival in The Hague, where the International Day of Peace is celebrated throughout the city from 21 to 25th of September.
