Anyone can be an activist, says Yvonne. As a human rights activist, she often pretended to be an aunt or friend of homosexual people, to save them from threatening situations. Because anybody who is openly homosexual, lesbian, bisexual or transgender (LGBT), runs a big risk of being threatened, beaten up or even murdered.
