From November the 3rd, Humanity House will host the multimedia exposition ‘In my dreams I want to become a tourist’. The exposition explores the pros and cons of Rwanda’s decision to close all of its orphanages. At the same time, it shows the complexity of the relationship between Western relief organisations and artists on the one hand and the aid-receiving non-western countries on the other.
During the opening we will discuss this topic with Mirjam Blaak (chair of Better Care Network Netherlands), Olivier Nyirubugara (Rwandan journalist and Lecturer at The Hague University of Applied Sciences) and the makers of this exposition.

We hope you’ll join us on November 3rd!
