In the run-up to International Women's Day, Hivos and Humanity House organize the 'She's got the power' event. Alongside themes like gender equality and women's rights we will alternate personal stories with performances and interaction with the audience.
During the first part of the evening we will have a panel-discussion on women in politics. This conversation will be followed by keynote-presentation from Madeleijn van den Nieuwenhuizen in which she will share her thoughts on imagery and stereotypical depictions of women in the media. Get inspired as we assist ambitious women who strive for a more equal society and a world where women are economically independent and have decision-making power.
