Some conflicts get more (media) attention than others but what about the people living in those regions? What actions should be taken to make their situation better? This November we are organizing two programs about forgotten conflicts, one about the war in Yemen and one about the current state of the Lord Resistance Army (LRA) and the influence it has on the Central African region. Yemen, a forgotten war: What can I do?

Conversation - An estimated 21,2 million Yemenis are in need of humanitarian aid. We will talk with several speakers, among whom the former Yemeni minister of Human rights, about the current situation and what is needed.

Lecture: The case against LRA fighter Ongwen

Lecture - Former LRA commander Dominic Ongwen is acccused by the ICC of crimes against humanity, but is also a former child soldier himself. We discuss his case, that starts in December, with LRA expert Ledio Cakaj.
