Extraordinary outdoor films at Humanity House

Open air cinema 2015

What better way is there to spend a sultry summer evening than watching the best cinema. This summer you can enjoy more films on the pleasant terrace at Humanity House.

In 2015 Humanity House again screens de best movies in the open air. What better way is there to spend a sultry summer evening than watching the best cinema. As in previous years, Humanity House is screening a series of must-see classic films with as theme: war & peace.

Join us on a world tour…

Humanity House brings the world closer with its museum of experience, debates & talk shows, and educational activities. And in the summer we do it by travelling the globe in five classic modern films. In 2015 it is 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands. Humanity House brings this special liberation year with films that pay attention to the human side of war and peace. With moving, airy and interesting films you will be introduced to various conflicts in the world and the people who have managed to keep itself standing within it.

Audiences at last year’s outdoor films enjoyed themselves to the full, with screenings packed to capacity and great weather! Although the films only start once the sun goes down, guests arrive as early as 7 p.m. For before the film, the outdoor terrace is a vibrant place to relax with drinks, cushions, background music and chat after a long and hectic day. A ticket for our outdoor cinema only cost €8,50 and will be sold from the begin of junk onwards.

And by 9 p.m., when everybody is in the mood, the film is ready to start. A big screen is the perfect way to enjoy a film in all its glory, and the courtyard at Humanity House provides the perfect setting, as we learned two years ago during the first series of outdoor films. And if the weather is poor, we simply screen the film indoors.
