Until now, more than 24.000 people were infected with the Ebola-virus and over 10.000 died. At first, the media reported daily about this humanitarian crisis, but currently it is almost silent. Nevertheless, the outbreak is not solved jet.
To end this crisis, the Netherlands should do more than just offer humanitarian aid. This according to Samuel Kofi Woods II, former Minister of Labour and Public Affairs of Liberia.
In this lecture, Woods will indicate what the Netherlands can do now and in the future to fight against Ebola and to increase (economic) development in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
