Trafficking of human beings is booming business worldwide. Its estimated total profits are on the same level as the illegal drugs trade. But the reality is complex, the numbers are controversial and the issue of how to best combat it is under debate. Who are these slaves? Do we understand the problem? What is being done -for example in the Netherlands- to protect them?
With a panel of experts, the public can take part in the discussion looking at the main concerns and dilemma’s facing the fight against modern-day slavery.
