The second draft of the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability has been launched: a standard that outlines what good humanitarian action looks like for communities and people affected by crisis and the staff and organisations involved in responding to this. How is the development of this standard going? And how is this applicable during emergency situations, when lives are at risk.
ZOA and Humanity House have invited executive director of Humanitarian Accountability Partnership, Marian Casey-Maslen, to provide a thorough briefing on the recent developments and to answer upcoming questions. Afterwards there will be a Cafe Humanitaire: A networking reception with a spoken column of Marian Casey-Maslen.
