OPCW and Humanity House kindly invite you to the screening of the short documentary Buried Memories and the discussion afterwards.
During World War I the peaceful town Bolimow in Poland was the site of a bloody battle with chemical weapons. Buried Memories talks about the work of an archaeologist to make this historical event known. After the screening Wilbert van der Zeijden (PAX) and Peter Sawczak (OPCW) discuss the current emerging challenges for the disarmament of chemical and other inhumane weapons. What has humanity learned since Bolimow?
