How can humanitarian organisations improve the provision of humanitarian aid during a crisis? Thirteen Dutch humanitarian organisations are organizing the Dutch Humanitarian Summit to answer this question.
Numerous speakers, side events, an innovation exhibition, five themed working groups and keynote speeches will feature on the programme. Among those attending are Lilianne Ploumen (Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation), Naema Tahir, Boris van der Ham, Maite Vermeulen, John Holmes, Lahpai Seng Raw, Arjan Hehenkamp and many others.
The day concludes with a closing discussion during which various guests will critically discuss the findings of the day and reach agreements for the World Humanitarian Summit in 2016 in Turkey.
