Join us at the first Cafe Humanitair after the summer! This time with Bram van Ojik, Netherlands Special Envoy for Migration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mohammed Badran, founder of Syrian Volunteers in the Netherlands.
On 19 September the UN Summit on Refugees and Migrants took place in New York. It was the first time that the General Assembly called together leaders and heads of state to achieve a more humane and coordinated approach to the large refugee and migration flows.
Bram van Ojik and Mohammed Badran were both in New York and look back on the Summit and its outcomes at the Humanity House. What effect will the Summit have on Dutch and European refugee policy?
