Grandma’s Tattoos: the Armenian Genocide

In April 2015 the 100th commemoration of the Armenian Genocide will be held. In the touching documentary Grandma’s Tattoos a granddaughter dives into the untold story of her grandmother’s life: a survivor of the Armenian Genocide. What is the story behind her secret tattoos, her mysterious behaviour and emotional world? After the one-hour-film, Ronald Suny will talk on how people currently deal with the genocide, followed by a reflection on the film and speech by Uğur Ümit Üngör.
