The Night of the Dictatorship is a yearly event and a dark night full off movies, interviews and exhibitions. The Humanity House participates in the Night of the Dictatorship together with The Prison Gate Museum, Atrium The Hague, The Nutshuis and ProDemos and are all open till midnight.

Between 8PM and 1AM more than 20 activities take place on five different locations in the citycentre of The Hague. For a complete program me, take a look here.

Museum: A the journey of discovery
During your night experience through the museum, you become a refugee yourself. It remains unclear if you are allowed to cross the border. You have to defy dangers and are being placed for impossible choices.

PubQuiz Dictaorship
In which country was Hugo Chavez the president? But also: who is the favorite dictator of the Dutch government en who played in the movie The Great Dictator? Test your knowledge about dictators and win revolutionair prices. The PubQuiz you can play individually or in teams. The Pubquiz is every you at 9.45PM, 10.45PM and 11.45PM and is Dutch spoken.

The Great Dictatorshiop Debate
Is there something like a good dictator? Is a dictatorschap more efficiënt than al those discussions amongst parliamentarians? Would China survive a democracy?

The Great Dictatorship Debate from the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy and Dutch political youth organizations will be led by Stefan Verwer from Coolpolitics. Representatives from youth organizations will start a discussion with you and with each other. Debates are from 9-9.30PM, 10-10.30PM and 11-11.30PM.
