Relisten: The Uncondemned
On April the 5th we watched the documentary ‘The Uncondemned’ and talked about the prosecution of sexual violence as a weapon of war and the judicial process regarding the trials.
Sexual violence in Rwanda
To mark the 24th remembrance of the genocide in Rwanda, we screened The Uncondemned. This documentary tells the gripping story of a group of young international lawyers, activists and Rwandan women. Together, they played a major role in the international recognition and prosecution of sexual violence as a weapon of war.
Listen to the talk we had afterwards with Patricia Viseur Sellers, Anne-Marie de Brouwer, H.E. Jean Pierre Karabaranga and moderator Pinar Okur.
