Relisten: Red alert on Congo
On Thursday the 15th of February we organised the debate called ‘Red alert on Congo’. What causes the deteriorating situation, and what can be done? You can now listen to the debate.
Level 3 Emergency is the highest emergency-level used by the United Nations. Iraq, Syria and Yemen are L3. In October Congo made this sad ‘promotion’ to L3. During Red alert on Congo we spoke about the situation in Congo. What causes the deteriorating situation? What regions are affected? What role do local actors play? And what can be done by humanitarian actors?
