City of The Hague

The Hague is international city of peace and justice, were people are working hard towards a better World. A hundred years ago an iconic new building was constructed in The Hague: The Peace Palace. This palace marked the beginning of the city’s identity as international city of peace and justice, as home of numerous international governmental and non-governmental organisations. And for the Netherlands as a centre of expertise in this field. Over 18,000 people at some 160 organisations are working together for a safe and just world.
