Cocktail

Cocktail is an organization linked to COC Nederland. Cocktail works to better the lives of LGBTQ+ refugees. They do this by organizing buddy projects all through the county, but also by spreading information about health issues and the legal situation of LGBTQ+ refugees in the Netherlands. Next to this Cocktail organizes different online platforms on which LGBTQ+ refugees can share ideas and build friendships. 

‘Rainbow Refugees NL’  is an app made for LGBTQ+ refugees whom apply for asylum in the Netherlands. The app is made by the Dutch ministry for Culture, Education and Science and gives information about the legal situation of LGBTQ+ refugees in the Netherlands. Next to this the app gives information about where to find help and assistance for both health related and schaveelt related issues. The app lists different organizations that can help the user with their asylum procedure. Usage however is completely anonymous, it will not ask for any personal information. The app is available in different languages.

There are different buddy projects organized all through the Netherlands for LGBTQ+ refugees. On the Cocktail website you can find where there is a buddy project near you. Contact any of the specific projects if you would like a buddy or if you would like to become a buddy.
